How do I know if I make a heart attack? Some symtoms precise please?

I am programmed for making catheterization Heart May 21 3 years ago, I had two stents put in and felt pretty good til now have to take a nitro, from time to time. Today, I had a very intense heart pain radiating to the jaw. I have 1 nitro pill every 5 minutes for 15 minutes. Total 3. The chest pain and jaw finally quit completely. The only pain I had was a headache and it was the nitro. The headace finally subsided and I felt good for 4 hours. My husband checks my blood pressure and heart rate and pressure are normal and heart rate is about 101. Now I am a severe headache and only a little discomfort in the chest (on a scale of 1-10 I would say chest pain is 2 and the pain headache is 10). Is a intense headache be a sign heart problem? Dr. said I did not have a heart attack in 2004, reasonable notice would be appreciated. I had to go by ambulance in 2004 and I hated all the noise, etc., but will go this way if required.
