slow heart rate during sleep

slow heart rate during sleep
Will I be okay for surgery?

I am a 17 year old active female. I recently tore my lateral meniscus of my right knee while playing basketball. Since cartilage is avascular and cannot heal itself, I need surgery. My orthopedic surgeon plans to put me under general anesthesia.

I have 1st degree AV block (also known as “athlete’s heart”) at periods of rest, and 2nd degree AV block when I sleep. My heart has been recorded to beat 30 times per minute when I sleep. When I exercise, my heart rate is completely normal and healthy. My cardiologist says that my heart is perfect during activity, but slow at rest.

Will I be okay to go under general anesthesia?

if they are aware of this, you,ll be o.k. i had a knee replacement in june, and i am very happy with my knee.
