Heart rates when exercising?
i am a 28 year old male who exercises 6 times a week (3 cardio sessions and 3 weight’s sessions). my normal resting pulse is around 50ish but can get as low as 40 if im really chilled. i have two related questions…
when i exercise, i can only get my heart rate up to 169 max (and thats me absolutely busting my boiler!!!). but i have seen formula’s on the internet that suggest my heart should be beating at around 192 max? is this normal?
also, i have seen that after getting to your max heart rate (in my case 169) it is desireable to have your heart rate drop 25-30 beats after the first minute. mine often goes from 162 bpm to 90 bpm within a minute. is this normal??? thanks in advance!
If you have been excersizing like this for a long time this is completley normal! Some athletes have a resting heart rate of 35bpm. Your heart rate is great it just mean that it is more efficient at getting the job done therefore it doesnt need to beat any harder! Your blood pressure is probably great to! Good Work keep it up! They say your heart rat should go back to normal within 2 minutes of exceriscing
