Knee Injury .. Should I wear a knee brace?
I put too much pressure on my knee two weeks ago. It has been hurt from time to time, so as my leg. Now it seems like there is fluid in the knee which explains the pain in my leg I'm using my calves and thighs to support that side of my body. (It hurts to put pressure on the knee). I have to walk around a lot, so I bought a brace. I do not know whether to help or do more damage. If I use the brace (Support) will make my knee worse, if it is liquid? I try to be able to sustain more on that leg because right now I'm avoiding the stress on same … sort of lameness. Any other idea what could be? note: I'm a doctor in a few days, I just need a temporary relief or solution. Thanks Thanks so far. I needed a rapid response helped me a lot.

The brace should help stabilize the joint knee to the doctor can check it out. You should also rest the joint as far as possible and keep it elevated (above heart) to reduce swelling. At this point, ice packs will not help with the severity of his injury, as they would if used during the first 48 hours, but can help relieve pain. hot packs can also make you feel better. Alternate hot and cold to see what feels best, alternating also greatly increase the circulation in that area and accelerate healing.
