there is a great concern about the rate of HIV infection among teenagers.schools in some larger cities have instituted programs to make condoms available to students along with counseling about safer sex. these plans have divided school boards and communities. some citizens and church groups are opposed to giving condoms to students on the grouns that it might appear to encourage sexual activity. by contrast , many schools and public health officials view the situation as a healtrh issue rather than a moral issue. the heart of the controversy seems to be whether the schools should take such a direct role in this part of student life. what are the reasons for and against distribution of condoms? what do you think the school’s role should be?

Schools should tell kids where to go for contraceptive help, but if they start providing condoms and stuff, I can see parents rushing in the school acting like schools promote underage sex. So schools should be informative, but neutral.
